The Canadian Association for Neuroscience Nursing was founded in 1969 and since then has been setting standards of practice and promoting continuing professional education and research. CANN is an interest group with representation on the advisory council of the Canadian Nurses Association and has affiliation with the Canadian Congress of Neurological Sciences and is a society member of the World Federation of Neuroscience Nurses. 195 members make up this active and dynamic group.
