Canadian Association of Neuroscience Nurses (CANN)

CANN/ACIIN is a professional specialty nursing group with representation on the advisory council of the Canadian Nurses Aassociation. CANN/ACIIN is affiliated with the Canadian Neurological Sciences Federation and a society member of the World Federation of Neurosciences Nurses.

You will have opportunities to network with others having an interest in the diverse field of neuroscience nursing through the members-only section of our website, local regional chapter events, at our own annual national conference and internationally. Chapter assistance and travel grants can be available to eligible members to attend educational events.

Members receive a current subscription to our national peer reviewed online journal, the Canadian Journal of Neuroscience Nursing (CJNN) including access to the large CJNN journal archives. Support for publishing articles is available through awards, including our CJNN Author Award and mentorship opportunities for writing a paper for publication.

Awards and Educational Grants
Becoming a member, allows you additional opportunities to apply for various Awards, Scholarships and Grants. As a courtesy to our members, we also allow you the chance to sign up for deadline notifications to help keep you on top of the many opportunities available to you.

Certification in Neuroscience Nursing
