SUMMARY:Anti-Indigenous Racism: Knowledge Sharing Event
DESCRIPTION:This virtual event\, organized by the Canadian Nurses Association (CNA)\, will take place on September 29\, 2025\, from 12-4 p.m. ET. It will bring together health-care professionals\, policy-makers\, and community leaders to share valuable knowledge\, experiences\, and strategies to foster a more equitable and culturally safe health-care environment. \nThe event’s primary objectives include understanding the historical context of White supremacy’s impact on First Nations\, Inuit\, and Métis communities; learning from the lived experiences of Indigenous nurses; and broadening our understanding of the harm caused by anti-Indigenous racism in health care.
