Health Care Professional Spotlight
Dr. Mark Bernstein, Neurosurgeon and Professor of Surgery
This edition's spotlight is on Dr. Mark Bernstein, a leading neurosurgeon at Toronto Western Hospital and a professor at The University of Toronto.

Since Day One of his three-decade career, Dr. Bernstein has had a passion for improving the care of brain tumour patients. He even extends this motivation to his pro-bono work as he operates and teaches in developing countries across the globe.
When asked what brings him the most satisfaction about his work, he says" Meeting people and having the honour and privilege of their trust and getting to help them. But I love everything about my job - the patient care, the research, education, and the international work."
