Brammiya Sivakumar BScN, CNN(C), RN (She/Her)

Brammiya Sivakumar obtained her Bachelor of Science in nursing degree from the University of Ottawa in 2007. She has over 13 years of experience as an RN in the neuroscience field, providing care to both children and adults. In 2016, she obtained her CNA certification in Neuroscience Nursing and she continues to be an active member of the Canadian Association of Neuroscience Nurses and is currently the Ontario-East Chapter Councillor. She started her career in the Neurosurgery, Neurology and Trauma unit at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto. She later moved to Ottawa and joined the Neuroscience Acute Care unit team at the Ottawa Hospital, Civic Campus. In 2015, Brammiya joined the Champlain Regional Stroke Network Team as the Stroke Prevention Registered Nurse, helping patients and their families reduce the risk of stroke.
