The Canadian Association of Neuroscience Nurses (CANN) sets standards of practice and promotes continuing professional education and research in neuroscience nursing across Canada
CANN members collaborate with individuals, families, interdisciplinary teams and communities to advance the field of neuroscience nursing care and research, prevent illness and improve health outcomes for people with, or at risk for, neurological disorders
OUR HISTORY
Our Founder’s Story
Jessie Young was a pioneer of neuroscience nursing in Canada. She helped set up the Canadian Neurosurgical Nurses’ Association, which later became CANN-ACIIN.
