Honey completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2010 and her Master of Nursing in 2021 from Toronto Metropolitan University. She obtained and has maintained her CNA Neuroscience Nursing Certification since 2014. She has worked as a staff and charge nurse in the Neurovascular Unit at Toronto Western Hospital from 2011. She has also worked as an advanced practice nurse educator and she currently works as a health informatics principal educator. Her interest in neuroscience nursing has led her to present at conferences such as the CANN Annual Scientific Session, the World Stroke Congress, and the Meeting of the World Federation of Neurosurgical Societies.
