Marianne Sofronas, PhD, RN

Marianne is a nurse, ethicist, and anthropologist. She is currently a post-doctoral fellow at the University of Ottawa, and a faculty lecturer at the Ingram School of Nursing, at McGill University. Marianne worked clinically for over a decade, as a nurse clinician in neuro-critical care and a clinical ethicist. She completed her PhD in nursing in 2023; her doctoral project was an ethnography of neuropalliative care.
