Anti-Indigenous Racism: Knowledge Sharing Event

This virtual event, organized by the Canadian Nurses Association (CNA), will take place on September 29, 2025, from 12-4 p.m. ET. It will bring together health-care professionals, policy-makers, and community leaders to share valuable knowledge, experiences, and strategies to foster a more equitable and culturally safe health-care environment.

The event’s primary objectives include understanding the historical context of White supremacy’s impact on First Nations, Inuit, and Métis communities; learning from the lived experiences of Indigenous nurses; and broadening our understanding of the harm caused by anti-Indigenous racism in health care.
